King Soopers is a grocery store chain with a significant presence located along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in the state of Colorado. The grocery chain began in 1947 and currently operates around 160 grocery stores including 45 City Market grocery stores located on the western slope and in mountain towns. 

Dillon Company acquired King Soopers in 1957 and City Market in 1969.  The Kroger Company acquired Dillon Company in 1983.  Kroger is the largest traditional grocery store chain in the United States and operates in approximately 36 states under different store banners.

Naos Design Group is a regional architectural firm for the Kroger Company.  We are the lead divisional architect for remodel and expansion work for both King Soopers and City Market.  We also completed one of the largest ground-up King Soopers, a 125,000 square foot Marketplace in Greeley, Colorado in 2011.
